Good actors, good performance, good skating, and a great entertaining concept..filled with potential, but the person who wrote the script didn’t “go all the way”. It is not taken to its full capacity. I’ve had a good time, but I can see where they could have bettered the quality of the movie in the romance-part. I upload videos on YouTube often, and some days, I got these great ideas, start the project, but then, I don’t follow through or make the extra effort to make it a reality, being sidetracked by other issues in life. And then I tend to just upload them, half way done, for the sake of doing it. That is what happened to this movie as well.
Sorry for the actors, they really perform great and would have deserved the extra input on behalf of the ones behind the scene. The Mexican ambience and emotional reactions in the house of Alex are fabulous and her dancing moves superb. He is sweet and has a balanced personality. They deserve an 8/10. But it turned out to be a 6/10 in my eyes.
Still, I had a good evening watching it.
